The University of Manchester’s German Society presents ‘Kabale und Liebe’ by Schiller

The University of Manchester’s Palaver Festival is back at the Contact Theatre again this year, celebrating language, music and performance. The University’s German Society is maintaining its long Thespian tradition with Friedrich Schiller’s ‘Kabale und Liebe’, a classic drama about intrigue and love. This abridged and modernised version, set in a private school, aims to reflect issues in contemporary British society and give the characters and narrative a new relevance for today’s audience.

Performed in German with English subtitles.

Tuesday, 15 March 2016, 8pm and Wednesday 16 March, 11am, £9/£5.
